Castle Rock Swimming, a non-profit organization, was founded in
1995. It is governed by a Board of Directors
consisting of 5 members: 4 parent volunteers
along with the head coach.
The board manages the club, while the head coach is responsible for
all decisions related to athlete development, performance,
competition and preparation. Our program is
comprehensive and developmental, carefully balanced to meet the
physical and psychological needs of young people at all levels of
ability and interest. The total team experience is much different
from that of other teams in the area. The program
works to provide the opportunity for each team member to be the
best he/she can be.
ROCK swimmers learn to achieve and the process of achieving is as
important as the achievement itself. Each ROCK
swimmer learns how to compete with his/herself so that continuing
self improvement becomes most important.
Therefore, swimming becomes a “whole life” experience
and swimmers develop self-confidence, self-discipline,
responsibility, and a strong work ethic. Swimmers form strong
personal relationships that last for years.
